A family trip to a garden center in Barbastro today to buy some goldfish for the village… why you may ask? Dotted in the village we have several water stores used to supply the huertos (allotments) with rain water and grow our tasty vegetables. The downside is they are the perfect home for mosquitos. After a bit of searching for natural ways to get rid of these annoying little beasties, Yif found an interesting article about introducing fish to the water source to eat the larvae. So now we have some village fish, lets hope they are hungry!
